The L9949 is a highly integrated engine power supply and driver IC, specifically designed for automotive ignition coil driver and small DC motor control applications.

It combines a logic interface, a high-side driver, and a low-side driver in one monolithic device, enabling compact and reliable ECU designs.

The high-side driver features a very low on-resistance, which reduces power dissipation and improves thermal performance in engine control modules.
