L9113 Power & Injector Driver Chip for Automotive ECU – Fuel Injection Control & Power Management IC
The L9113 is a multifunctional integrated circuit designed for automotive engine control units (ECUs), combining power management and direct injector driver capabilities.
It integrates a low-dropout voltage regulator (LDO) to provide stable 5V or 3.3V supply for microcontrollers and sensors, eliminating the need for external power components.
The built-in high-side driver can directly control diesel or gasoline fuel injectors with peak current up to 3A and holding current of 1A, suitable for small to medium engine applications.
Operating voltage range covers 6V to 28V, making it compatible with 12V and 24V vehicle electrical systems, including passenger cars, light trucks, and agricultural machinery.
Protection features include overcurrent limiting, thermal shutdown, and undervoltage lockout, ensuring robust performance in harsh automotive environments.
The logic input accepts 3.3V and 5V signals, allowing seamless connection to standard ECUs or aftermarket engine management systems.
Fast switching response and low quiescent current (less than 50µA in standby) help reduce overall power consumption and improve system efficiency.
This chip is ideal for ECU repairs, custom fuel injection modules, retrofit diesel control units, and automotive electronics education projects.
Applications: Gasoline/diesel injector drivers, integrated ECU power supply, small engine control modules, industrial fuel systems.
Package: Small surface-mount (SOP-8 or similar), easy for automated assembly and manual rework.
